Holiday Cheer in NYC

The holiday cheer is contagious in NYC, especially when you see the stunning decorations around the city. This eBike tour goes to Dyker Heights in Brooklyn to see some of the most spectacular Christmas displays in all of NYC. You get to experience Christmas decorations in an entire new way. Best of all, you don’t have to deal with the parking nightmare, insane traffic, or walking long distances.

We ride the bikes down the Hudson River Greenway from Hudson Yards to South Street Seaport.  There we catch a ferry that will bring us down the East River into NY Harbor passing the Status of Liberty to Sunset Park in Brooklyn,  From there we ride to the Dyker Heights neighborhood. 

While in Dyker Heights we will zag zag through the entire neighborhood so you see all the lights and beautiful homes decorated .  Most people visiting Dyker Heights just see the 2 main streets.  On the bikes, we will see the entire neighborhood. .

After the tour you will have the option to:

1. Take the ferry back to Manhattan -> then back up the Hudson River Greenway to Hudson Yards
2. No ferry and we ride back to Manhattan through many local Brooklyn neighborhoods via Prospect Park, plus riding over the Brooklyn Bridge -> then back up the Hudson River Greenway to Hudson Yards.

Route Overview

• 50% protected Bike Lanes/Bike Highway/ Parks -> in Manhattan and other parts of Brooklyn
• 20% traditional bike lanes -> In the  Dyker Heights neighborhood
• 30% shared road with cars -> In the  Dyker Heights neighborhood
• Tour starting point
• We are located in Hudson Yards/Chealsea  at 29th Street and 11th Avenue in the parking lot of the Manhattan Mini storage.  Bikes well be set up 15 minutes before tour time in parking lot. * Please don’t go into the Mini Storage building as they have nothing to do with us. Subway: Take the 7 train to Hudson Yards (last stop) and walk to 29th Street and 11th Avenue

  Walking the High Line: 30th Street and 11th avenue exit – go down steps, then walk to 29th street and 11th Avenue – 1 block walk

  Uber – Tell them 29th street and 11th Avenue – not the name of the business as we just moved.

Important Info

• Teens are welcome ages 16-17 to ride with an adult
• All tours have a minimum of 2 bikes
• Tour route is subject to change because of possible road closures due to summer street fairs, parades, construction, or NYPD activity.
• Tour operates Dec. 1 – Jan. 5
• The tour is available during the day if requested, but Christmas lights don’t get illuminated until sunset. 5pm’ish
• Dress very warm; this is an outdoor tour in the winter! Riding the bikes has a big extra windchill.
• Note that all members of my party are knowledgeable in operating a bike and feel comfortable riding around New York City. This tour is not for beginner riders.
