Dubbed “the Woodstock of Eating” by The New York Times, Smorgasburg is America’s largest weekly open air food market and a must experience destination for any foodie. Launched in 2011 as a spin-off of the Brooklyn Flea, this Williamsburg-born market has grown into a full blown culinary phenomenon. Every weekend, hundreds of bold, creative vendors serve everything from global street food to next level desserts. More than just a market, Smorgasburg is a launchpad, where small food ideas become big time success stories. Many vendors have gone on to open thriving restaurants, build cult followings, and become staples of New York City’s food scene.

Our tour turns your Smorgasburg visit into an unforgettable ride:

• Saturdays: Cruise to Williamsburg, Brooklyn, crossing the Queensborough and Williamsburg Bridges. Pass through Long Island City/Queens, NYC’s newest up and coming neighborhood and Greenpoint/Brookyn, soaking in vibrant city energy along the way.
• Sundays: Head to Prospect Park, Brooklyn, crossing the iconic Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridges. Ride through Downtown Brooklyn, Gowanus, and Park Slope, admiring classic brownstones and city landmarks.

Once we arrive at the market, you’ll have an hour to roam, taste global flavors, and soak up the sunny, buzzing vibe. Afterward, we’ll hop back on our eBikes and cruise back to Manhattan along a fresh route, keeping the ride as fun and adventurous as the day itself.

Route Overview

• Saturdays to Williamsburg Brooklyn / Sundays to Prospect Park Brooklyn
• 15 miles ride via Williamsburg / 22 miles ride via Prospect Park
• 90% to Williamsburg / 75% to Prospect Park – protected bike lanes/greenways
• 5% to Williamsburg / 20% to Prospect Park —  traditional bike lanes
• 5% shared streets with cars/trucks
• Tour starts and finishes at our  facility in Hudson Yards on 29th Street and 11th Avenue – Manhattan Mini Storage building
  Subway #7  Train (Purple Line ) to Hudson Yards 34th street –  Exit train and walk to 29th Street and 11th avenue – across the street from 311 11th Avenue
• 2 min walk off the High Line – 11th Avenue/Hudson Yards exit

Important Info

• Food NOT included in tour
• Weekend Surcharge of $10.00 (per person)
• Young adults ages 16 – 20 are welcome to ride their own bike if  accompanied by an adult
• All tours have a minimum of 2 bikes – if we already have a scheduled tour going out, you can join as a single rider.
• Tour route is subject to change because of possible road closures due to summer street fairs, parades, construction, or NYPD activity.
• Note that all members of my party are knowledgeable in operating a bike and feel comfortable riding around a busy New York City environment. ***THESE TOURS ARE NOT DESIGNED FOR BEGINNER RIDERS***

• Rider Requirements & Bike Fit

  We want everyone to have an amazing ride! Our one-size-fits-most folding e-bikes are designed with safety, comfort, and ease of control in mind. They typically accommodate riders from 5’2″ to over 6’4″ (157 cm to 193+ cm), with adjustable stems and seat posts for a customized fit. Each bike has a maximum weight capacity of 270 lbs.
